Looking Forward
Living in today's world, for many of us, can truly feel hopeless. Seemingly, or perhaps these words should read, "we are actually," pressured greatly on every side: left, right, top, and bottom. The heavy weight and pressure pressing down upon the shoulders of regular people like you and I, can be more than anyone can bear. Moving forward, from one day to to the next, one week to the next, and further throughout the year, and as each passing hour adds to the next, we can see and hear all around us, the wars, rumors of wars, riots and violence. If you are anything like me, the increasing amount of daily stress steadily pushes us ever closer to the breaking point.
The worrisome and stress filled atmosphere in which we live, may sometimes cause some individuals to experience extreme frustration, fear, and an excessive amount of mental tensions and contentiousness. As we progress forward throughout 2025 and beyond, the feelings of aggravation and wide ranging emotions that one often feels can result in deep depression, overwhelming stress, and and alarming rates of anxiety. Now, as we are all aware of, high levels of stress and anxiety, can lead to the activation of our "fight or flight" response, which in turn can lead to a build up of inflammation in our bodies, which is the root cause of many of todays most dangerous physical ailments, such as diabetes, fibromyalgia, and even Lupes.
Recently, I spoke to a young lady who felt as if the weight of the world, and just the events of her daily life, was pressing against her so hard, that she could not even breathe, it was literally causing her to hyperventilate even as we spoke and prayed. Speaking to a young man who had learned of God as a child, but stepped away as he had gotten older, stated that it was the culmination of his realization that God was calling him, along with the ever increasing level of wars and other world events, along with the rise in violence stateside that compelled him to walk into our church one Sunday morning.
Although we all face these feelings of insecurity and even fear at what is happening in the world around us, we should also know, that with God, all things are possible. With God, you and I can attain any and all goals, for our God is the owner of the cattle upon a thousand hills: for the earth is the Lord's, and all who dwell therein. In these trying times, it is normal for there to be some level of concern, and some level of fear; in fact, this is normal, and if someone informs you that they do not have at least a minute amount of concern, they are a liar, and the truth is not in them. According to Paul, in our weaknesses, God will become our strength, our fears shall be overcome. Listen up, as Believers, our lives are re not perfect, nor should we expect them to be; however, through our Faith in Him Christ Jesus, we know that God's Grace is sufficient, and because of this, we have is no need to despair.
II Corinthians 12:9 And He said unto me, My Grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the Power of Christ may rest upon me...
As I stand watching the events of the today's world, I am glad that I have a friend that sticks closer than a brother, a Comforter in times of distress, and a Strong Tower in whom I can find shelter. As stated above, just knowing that we, as the children of God, can have peace, even when the world around us resides in total chaos. Pressured and we strained on every corner, but finding the strength to carry on, even when others around us begin to falter.
II Corinthians 4:8-9 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed...

(Jesus of Nazareth) |
You see, voluntarily stepped out of eternity, He came to this earth that His hand created, to be born as a young child in a lowly manger: not even a full barn, just a simple area to provide partial protection, food, and water for the animals accompanying the many travelers along the way. Christ Jesus, the King of Glory, walked this earth, along the many paths that still exist to this day in an area that many refer to as the Holy Land. Jesus taught the masses, He preached to the lowest of the low, and He healed many whose homes were alleys, doorways, and just about anywhere that they could lay there heads. After Jesus completed the mission for which He to this earth, Jesus gave us the ultimate gift, He became a living sacrifice by giving His own Life on the cross. Christ Jesus paid the ultimate price, the cost for the sins of you and I, all of us were here that day, and we ourselves nailed Him to that cross, only after we beat Him with the cat of nine tails, ripping put His hair and shredding His garments.
He, the Messiah, Lord of Lords, and King of the heavens, gave His own life and by doing so, we have, those who put their faith in Him, have all overcome our flesh, and the "accuser of the brethren" purely by the Blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony. You see, because we have been bathed in the precious Blood of the Lamb, we can rest assured that no amount of pressure, no level of stress, nor any attack of the enemy can overcome the children of our Mighty God.

the world...
As we continue to move through the final months of 2025, and as we head towards 2026 and beyond, we must prepare ourselves to finish strong, and head into the next year on an upswing, knowing that the best years of your life lay ahead of us, and not behind us. But how? why? Because you and I both have overcome the enemy through Christ Jesus, because He Himself has overcome him. And now, because we have not allowed ourselves to be destroyed, distracted, or disqualified by the enemy and his minions, every door shall be open unto you as God sees fit. Because you have been faithful over the little things, God knows that He can trust you over the larger things. You see, for you, this season shall be the season of the open door!, your best is yet to come, through Christ Jesus you have persevered and now the Blessings and the Overflow is coming your way.
I John 5:4-5 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
